During the lockdowns in 2020/21, while I was stuck in home office and after basically watching all of netflix, amazon prime and all the other streaming services - TWICE! I started to watch some youtube channels ... and somehow stumbled upon some LEGO review channels.
I didn't play with bricks since I was a kid. But somehow it triggered me to buy a set. I choose the statue of liberty first, since I liked it - and wanted to have a reminder of my visit there in 2015. (Unfortunately, my camera got stolen when I was visiting NY - so I'm missing any RL pictures of Ellis Island).
I found the whole experience of building this VERY relaxing and calming - so I've actually bought a few other sets since then.
Finally, last year I asked
Pagrynga for a picture of me building something, which they did absolutely perfectly!
