Tenné Shadjet, Shaper of Sands
A new take on my original idea to have a character for each heraldric color. This time it's "tenné" as a set-animal or typhonic beast. They were the animal associated with the Egyptian deity Set, characterized typically with squared ears, a forked tail, and a rounded tilted-down muzzle. Sometimes they were likened with other animals, like aardvarks, donkeys, or breeds of dogs, but some think they were their own thing, either now extinct or a mythical species. So, with Set being the god of the deserts and me wanting a sand-wielding character, seemed like a good fit. Took some extra design elements like his number of digits from how Smite depicted Set.
Tenné is a monk, training and honing his martial prowess along with his mystical abilities. His bandages are actually made of condensed sand, which you can see fraying and deshaping at the edges. He has duties as a 'grave-warden' someone who tends to the recently deceased to prepare them for funerary and burial rites, as well as making sure the dead stay that way. Tenné usually does his duties on his home plane, a world where the dead are cursed to rise again unless they are laid to rest properly, but he does sometimes wander the Multiverse to aid allies in any related problems.
