Sketches done as part of Fattytober 2022.
Part of Lorena's backstory. She is a transfem narwhal-horse hybrid who I've been meaning to flesh out (pun maybe intended) ever since I came up with the character years and years ago. I used the fattytober prompts to develop a kind of storyline for her. Sadly I couldn't do the whole 31 pictures, but I figures I might as well share the pictures I made for your viewing pleasure.

Skip ahead in her story to the present day where Lorena is dating and going steady with James, the giraffe. Their relationship is that of trust, committment, and mutual support. They enjoy each other's pressence and love spending time together. Lorena still teaches but mostly via online lessons and online content as a science communicator. And it seems like lately James has been picking up on some of her habits when it comes to food and eating. I'm sure none of them mind this new development.
