What is this thing, a giant water bowl?

Rudyard's first trip to the river was interesting.
He didn't know what a lake was. He was unfamiliar with stick-
chasing, barking, the sky, boats, water, running freely or having
fun in general.

Lucky for us he had a great teacher in Carmen. She was a fun-loving
soul who really knew how to let loose. Poor Rud tried to keep up but
he was scared and distracted. It took several hours before he opened up
and learned how to have fun. Then there was no stopping him.

You can have tons of fun by yourself but most experiences are far
better when shared.

The same can be said of us humans. We, too, are consumate pack
animals. We live for inclusion. Yes, you can exist without love,
but it's far less rewarding.

In 2010, I met a special person who has taught me so much about
life. He's not scared to run with the wind, bark at the moon and roll
in the sand.
