This kid consists only of his thoughts, hidden under layers of paper. They are unstable and with any manifestation of anxiety and further panic, they can break out of the paper shell. Because of this and the fact that passers-by can literally hear thoughts in this state, he spends all the time at home, preferring to write all alone, because this activity calms him down.
