Biography: Yasu is one of the many 1/2 mermaids born to Junichiro & Palutena. She was born a week before the last of the 3rd 1/2 mermaid Gamila & Ramla, Pheldon & Salieth, and Peach were born in 3 consecutive days. Like many of her siblings, Yasu was one who would stick around when her father came back & have stories to tell of his adventures; which he often did. One such tale concering a stay in Hoshido inspired Yasu to take up arms against her father's foes. To that end she picked up a club just as Hiltrude picked up an axe to train with. As a result, the two went onto train together to use their respective chosen weapons. However, it became clear that Hiltrude was the stronger of the two sisters as whenever, Hiltrude was always the one who won the training skirmishes. Yasu never gave up however despite receiving many injuries from Hiltrude. Finally, Yasu was able to disarm Hiltrude without harming her, but when it came to trying against her father, it was a different story as Yasu was taught she still had much to learn. Even so, she was allowed to travel with her other Fire Emblem themed siblings (Sans Eurydice who initially stayed behind) & enlisted in the Gaia Army. During her time, she became a much more skilled fighter than she previously was. But even then she was not fully prepared for when the Supreme Forces attacked Gaia Castle. Though she fought valiantly, she was in the end forced to fall back with her friends & family while the army was wiped out & the castle was taken by the invading enemy. Yasu was quick to pledge herself to the newly formed Gaia Alliance with the mission of freeing Gaia from darkness, and even then she's willing to lend her club in service whenever it is needed. Yasu is best described as a fun loving girl who surprisingly acts as a genuine big sister to her younger siblings through & through. However, she is known to be temperamental, so be careful with what you say to her. Yasu is a big lover of bikinis. In fact, instead of the usual Oni Savage uniform, she opts to wear a bikini & boots similar to Lum's usual outfit while in the field of battle. However, she still wears some sort of leg coverings for extra protection. Like a number of her sisters, Yasu is an absolute mudlark & loves feeding herself to quicksand the moment she hears a pit in her vicinity. She does look down on those who don't have a spirit of fun in them. Cooks the best Potato Mochi.
Abilities: As she is 1/2 Mermaid, Yasu can take on her mermaid form at any point she enters the water. However, she prefers the water to be fresh, or seawater. She also likes for it to be clean, just like her other 1/2 mermaid siblings. In the water, Yasu, just like her other Fire Emblem themed 1/2 mermaid sisters, enjoys an increase in her dodge/avoid, making her a tricky target to hit in the water. Her movement also doubles while in the water. Yasu begins the party as an Oni Savage, a Hoshidan class with impressive strength & defense. But unlike most Oni Savages, Yasu has slightly better skill power so she can make better use of the clubs she brings with her onto the field to bludgeon her foes with. As far as having good growth rates in strength, defense, and skill, her growth rates in speed & luck are also praise worthy. The only thing that falls behind are magic & resistance, yet they still see plenty of growth to the point Yasu can use magic without issue. However, she can only do so if she promotes into an Oni Chieftain, which gives her access to scrolls & tomes. Of course, she can also opt to become a Blacksmith to stay a melee orientated unit with usage of clubs & axes and katanas & swords instead. She starts with the following weapons & skills.
Swamp Club: Vasu's personal weapon. This club can turn normal terrain into swamp terrain upon executing a successful strike, and the change is permanent until the battle as a whole is over. Being a personal weapon, it has infinite uses.
Iron Club: Affordable & easy to wield. Has a greater chance to inflict a critical hit. Has 40 uses.
Pike-Ruin Club: Effective against spears/naginata. Weak against other weapons. Has 30 uses.
Throwing Club: A weak throwing club usable for indirect attacks. Has 25 uses.
Mold Breaker: The Personal Skill of Yasu. When Yasu initiates combat, she can ignore the effects of specific skills & items. For instance: If she uses a Halberd against a Cavalier with Beast Shield, Beast Shield will be nullified & the Halberd will deal the intended effective damage.
Seal Resistance: Inflicts -6 Resistance debuff on the target after combat.
