Hello there, my fellow fans of many sexes and genders. Welcome everyone and all of watchers who'll check out the another simple pic.
Here's the another older Hazbin Hotel / Helluva Boss fanart I post here after being for a while in Twitter and Reddit. Why I wrote titles of both of Vivziepop's series? Because one: it's recently confirmed that both of them belong to universe called Hellaverse. And two: because our today's character appearing in this pic, can exist in both universes.
Her name, as it's said in title, is Yokai.
And here's the brief description of her I put on both Reddit and Twitter: "As her name suggests, she's Japanese and she's kitsune demon with not kitsune - like abilities. The signature and one of rarest one she has is hemokinesis, or the power of manipulating blood - her own and enemies' ones. In this case, she uses one to create blades and knives and use it in fight. The other ones she has are quick reflexes, close combat skills, increased speed in running and precognition (up to two minutes in fight and up to three months while sleeping). She can't shapeshift and cast fire and fire - related spells. And what's up with the peculiar clothing, you ask? Well, she died in 40s during WWII, in Pacific War and she was a pilot and soldier shortly from one of squads with military stations in Philippines. But couldn't be fully one if she hadn't pretended for a long time she was a man. And this was one of the inexcusable deeds..."
When I was drawing first few Hazbin - related sketches privately, there was an original concept of killing Ora and putting her into Hazbin universe as the sinner demon, but I scrapped it out, because it would be redundant and too self - insert, and I was creating the new character, with new backstory, psychology, philosophy, etc., fitting better with this peculiar universe. In first few versions, Yokai looked like a copycat of Ora, but with different colours. In few later instances, I tried to make her design more unique and I think I made it, considering the fact I had a challenge to avoid putting controversial Rising Sun symbol in any of elements of her clothing and I based colours she has more on traditional depiction of kitsune and kitsune mask Japanese people are wearing during matsuri (festival in Japanese).

This pic was originally posted in sketch version in Reddit at 11th September 2020, and then on both Twitter and Reddit in fully coloured version at 24th October 2020. In Reddit, it did got small attention (sketch version got 5 upvotes before being taken out by mods; the same with coloured one, which had 10 upvotes in Hazbin Hotel Reddit and 13 in HazbinHotelOCArt one), while on Twitter it got 5 likes and 2 retweets.
Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss belong to Vivziepop.
