"I Dub Thee, Sir Thazel Springwell!" by V.I.R.I.D.I
By leaps and bounds, this was not how Thazel had envisioned his knighting ceremony. Was he the hero of multiple glorious victories? Was he the grizzled veteran, skilled swordsman and archer?
No. But he was the squire who got captured and then rescued to sound the alarm against the Umbral Empire. He would never gallop to battle against their monsters, but he had ensured that others would, and soon enough perhaps to spare the good people the fate that befell him.
Not so bad a knighting ceremony, really.
