With the conclusion of the Auscives Company’s 3rd arc of the campaign, Ysra demanded I make something relevant to that. She’s spent the first two arcs being aloof and grumpy and distrustful of most everyone else.

Arc 3 hit her hard and fast, bringing her home only to crack her (and the party) over the head with blow after blow from the machinations of the enemy. Well, the Company took exception to that and swung back! Hard.
Removing a dust lich curse over a secluded tree manor, cleansing the lifeless Bleakscar of a living curse fueled by the shard of a fallen deity, and then stopping an incarnation of a piece of that fallen deity from summoning the Unqueen of Dragons to the mundane plane.

And through all that, she learned what happened with the man she’d been courting before the war and why he seemed to suddenly drop her to marry her ex-best friend. The reason why she wore a brooch of cracked glass to signal to other Vaeleryn elves she wasn’t available for courting. She learned to trust her companions, even the one who was hiding a massive secret she would have, had it been anyone and anywhere else, killed him for.

And now, she’s ready to move forward. To heal, and grow, and look to the now and future~
