A second later, however, I can feel another attack hitting me. The Palossand was apparently waiting until I landed before launching a shadow ball attack at me. And with me still recovering from the last blow and being unable to breathe again just yet I’m completely unable to do anything regarding any sort of resistance against this attack, knocking me over again. My body screams at me for a break and a chance to rest, to not only regain the ability to breathe normally but recover even just a bit from not only the exertion but the attacks thus far. I can hear Maria shouting something in the distance but she’s likely too far away to be able to be of much help. I’m likely well outside of the range for her to aim accurately. She may be able to lift me up still, but that would leave her vulnerable and she couldn’t move me very quickly while doing so, leaving me a stationary target for further attacks. And of course the worst part of this is really starting to sink in. I was compelled to attack when one of them went down. Meaning that there are going to be at least two more instances where I’m going to lose all control and go after, allowing for two more attacks of opportunity to the Rocket members. I gasp for breath as my lungs finally start to behave normally again, though I imagine it’s too little, too late.
