Flex is all set!

Flex is made of minky and custom dyed minky, and a TINY bit of mochi minky. They sit at about 10 inches from the top of the head to the bottom of the rump. The details on the face and clothing is machine embroidered and appliqued. None of the accessories are removable.
Brown, my mortal enemy. That’s all I say about dyeing some of the clothing and hair.
I had a chance to try short pile minky for the face, I LOVE the results and hope to get my hands on more skin tones for human plushies. It looks smoother and not as fluffy as regular minky! But still soft! :)
Quite a bit of planning went into this little one, the biggest thing was planning out how to make all the clothing and if I could achieve a more loose look to them. In the end I was only really able to make the sleeves loose on the base body. The waist was... interesting. My chibi pattern was made to fit more highrise pants, I had to sacrifice some of the belt to make the pants look like they aren’t all the way up halfway on the belly. ^^;
Cape, and extra accessories were easy! I DID end up dyeing the cap color last second. The colors I picked out were all too blue, and I needed something a little more grey.
The hair... I don’t know. I think it was easy to pattern. I did miss a few pieces of hair while I was patterning, especially on their right side. SOOOO much handsewing, but no other complains aside from that. :) I never really got to make facial hair for plushies, so that was pretty cool!
Overall fun to make! Especially all the clothing! Making a tiny knife was comical so say the least!
