quick Scott Pilgrim doodle before bed as i just finished reading the books again
Its funny when people act all weird when they find out that Scott is a POS and not super awesome from the start, cuz I guess characters having archs isnt a thing in literature any more. the whole point is that he starts off as kind of a POS and through meeting Ramona, who is also a bit of a POS, he becomes a better person over time and so does she. Oh well i still like the books, i should try and watch the movie again some day

Scott was a shithead at the start but he at least got his head out of his ass. I do think he could have done better than Ramona at the end, but that probably comes from the fact that, unlike Scott, we don't really see her grow much at all. And while Scott's problems tend to come more from avoiding problems, some of Ramoa's tended to come from her actively causing them.
