Lex DeLaVega held his umbrella fast as the raindrops pattered onto it, sliding off the side. He felt his heart skipping beats as he walked alongside Na'eema, who had come prepared for the weather, but was nonetheless grateful for his thoughtfulness.

"Doesn't feel like three years." He chuckled as they strode down the path.

"Feels like a lifetime ago for me..." She replied with a warm smile.

"Given that you're liable to outlive the sun, must be a good long while!" Lex snickered.

"Oh hush, we're almost there."

It had become the first thing they did on the anniversary of going steady and they hadn't missed it yet.

"Here we are!" Na'eema chirped, then stood there with him, closing her eyes as her psionic power began to kick in.

They held hands as their feelings of love for eachother reflected and multiplied, her psionics linking their minds and bringing them back to every moment they'd shared in their special place, all starting with their first kiss that took place right where they stood.

"I love you, Lexy."

"I love you too, Na'eema."
