Ko-fi donations for my pet rats

Hello!
I wanted to set a ko-fi plan that would support my rats - from surgeries to basic stuff like proper food. Their names are Grzegorz and Maurycy, they're loving brothers!. They're still young, but I know from previous experiences with pet rats how fragile their health is and how quick their minor problems can turn to deadly and irreversible illnesses. My parents also complain that they pay for their food and bedding. So far I've been able to provide them with these all by myself, but I've recently ran out of money. Since I'm struggling with my mental health and can't get a job, drawing is my only way of income. Please consider donating to make these lovely brothers are a little happier! I'd really appreciate anyone sharing this post in their journal.

I rescued my first trio from two separate pet shops, the first was really REALLY bad. I couldn't imagine life without rats, so I kept getting them, so here I am 10yrs later :D I spoil them rotten! I want to get a cat tree for the youngins when I get them. My current 2 are too old (can't move like they used to, because old) for it, but it'll be fun in the future! How many have you had at a single time? I ended up with 9 (one i got from a pet store was apparently mixed with the males at one point 😬she had 5 pups!)
Oh, I rescued one of my previous rats from a pet shop too! She got pregnant at a super young age because they kept her with male rats :^(. I didn't even know about that until one day she surprised me with 11 pups!. Unfortunately, she was too scared and young to take care of them, and even my efforts to feed them didn't work out. I was able to take care of the strongest pup for only three days, I really tried my best. The she had 3 tumors and lost one of her eyes. I don't know what they did to her before I bought her, but she was so scared of people. It took me so long just to get her more used to being picked up. She was such a brave and sweet girl tho, I loved her very dearly. Unfortunately, she died because of her age. I miss her and her sisters a lot.
I've only had 3 at a single time :D. My room is very small (2mx3m lmao), so I've never had room for a bigger cage. 9 ratties sounds like pure heaven haha! I spoil mine quite a bit too, I cook for them a lot (rat safe dishes, of course) x3.
I'm so sorry to hear about your rat from the pet store :^(. Pet stores are literally hell for pets, I'll never ever buy a live animal at a pet store. All of the rats (except one girl) I've had were from private ratteries and super caring people that know a lot of rats and breed them based on their genes.
