I bought these at Fandom Fashions. For some reason, I can not find the direct link to the socks and they seem to have disappeared from the site, although they were there this morning. The person who has created them can be found here on FA.
I wrote a review about them after purchasing a pair and trying them out. It was not a 5 star review, so it was never allowed to be posted to the site. However, I feel that whether a review is good or negative, you should get an honest review so that you know what you are buying. So, here is my review of the socks.
~~
These are a gimmick and nothing more. It should be noted that they are NOT meant for everyday wear. Use them at a convention when you are staying in the hotel room at the end of the day while walking around your room. For the price you spend on one pair of socks, you really do not want to let anything happen to them.
The first day I wore them, I wore them for a while around the house and even slept in them to see how functional they are. They fit rather nicely and did not seem to shift or affect my walking (no slipping on the carpet like I thought they might). The immediate downfall that I noticed is that the top of the socks that have the claws are not positioned correctly. It does not really look like claws and the two on the outside were placed too far out. Which made them less noticeable. The placement looks like it was done to look good on the sock, not while the sock is worn.
After washing the socks (inside out to help keep the pattern from getting ruined), I noticed that the socks shrunk considerably. They do not fit like they used to and are rather tight. The material used to make the paws have not cracked yet, but it feels as if they might if the sock is stretched too long/over time.
So, overall, I like the socks. BUT!
The socks should be made a size larger and sold a size smaller to prevent any issues from shrinking (A size 12 sold as a size 10 or 11). The top of the sock should have the claws closer together, but done in a way that the height of a foot is taken into consideration as well.
It should also be noted that in the future, I will not be buying another pair of socks because the new ones have the site name printed on them. Which, in my opinion, takes away from the illusion. I understand that the creators want to advertise their site, but that should be printed higher up on the sock, around the top or above the ankle.

Clever idea, but it strikes me as a regular sock with an iron-on put on it.
Ironically
catwolf is doing a sock/paw thing as well http://www.furaffinity.net/view/497...../#cid:36851029

Good review. I almost contemplated on buying a pair. :< They look cute except for the ball foot (pad?) which to me looks really bizzare since canids don't have a ball of the heel pad because, well, they don't have them.
I figured they were a gimmick it seems like most furry oriented merchandise is now, a good idea, looks nice, high price but you buy it and think it's worth it and then it either:
1. Falls apart.
2. Can't be washed.
Which winds up making the clothing look dirty, frazzled, frayed and smell horrid.
Like the pawstar tail I'm trying to sell, I've had it almost two years now, it's clean, smells nice, etc. Because I never wore it because I paid close to $50 for the thing. :/
My other friend wears his tail religiously he ordered from pawstar since he bought it 4 months ago, it's matted, fraying and the thing smells like a dead animal. D:

Canids may not have a ball on their foot pad, but they do not have feet shaped like ours either.
Well, you can wash these and the overall design is not bad. It is more the price and placement of the decals/material used to give the illusion that made the review a bit more negative. I would give it a 3.5/5 stars (7.5/10). It is on the high end of the rating. It is a great idea if you go to a furry/anime convention. But it is not something that you will be wearing around a lot and showing off to everyone. I think 1 pair costs about $12. But since I can not find the receipt (nor find it on the site), I really do not remember.
