This one has been a learning experience. It started life as a traditional, poster sized, pencil sketch. That was a bad idea... Lots of mistakes with regards to perspective and tricky as all get out. Started wondering what the heck I had gotten myself into. Then I got a sudden flurry of favorites from out of left field for a digital sketch I'd done a couple months ago. Right about then I realized that while I *can* do things in traditional pencils, I *enjoy* creating things in this minimalist MSpaint style of mine. Plus, it would appear that I get better results. After drawing the conductor and his stand over lunch and seeing the results, I made the switch and haven't looked back since.
This is the entire violin section of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, plus conductor and pianist. No clue how I'm going to be able to shrink this into the 1280x1280 size limit when I'm finished with the entire thing, but that's another challenge for another day. Pabea_Khaos, what do you think of what's been done so far? Any changes that need to be made to the style?
