Seen here at attention in his royal outfit with crown and scepter, King Lacklund VII was the final monarch of the planet 1776 before CNG destroyed it to punish it for not staying behind the times like Kriegland did. Here is his bio:
King Lacklund VII Bio
Name: His Highness King Lacklund VII (or just King Lacklund); other alternate titles also work, such as "His Majesty" or "His Revered Honorableness"
Species: White tiger
Alternate names: Lacklund Winston of the House of Winston. Unlike the other three monarchs of the Forsythe system, he does not have a superhero identity.
Nationality: American; formerly of the planet 1776
Gender: Male
Former Occupation: Reigning monarch of the Forsythe System planet 1776, consisting entirely of red, white, and blue tigers. His reign was about 17 years total.
Current Occupation: Composer, arranger, musician, percussionist on the musical payroll system, and drum major in charge of the Royal Ensemble of Bugles, Fifes, and Drums of 1776. As he now lives in a 100%-accurate recreation of his drum-shaped mansion he occupied back on 1776, he also serves as a tour guide for the mansion. The television network WBC occasionally hires him to do voice-overs for PSAs as well.

Appearance: Slim but athletically built white tiger with blue eyes; he habitually pads (goes barefoot) regardless of what he is doing or wearing. Otherwise, he usually wears a traditional king's outfit with a golden crown; the outfit is blue with military decorations and two golden epaulettes, and also comes with an extra red coronation robe given to him the day he ascended the throne. The outfit also has a belt with sword attachment, so that his sword will fit. He does not use the sword, however, unless he is to knight somebody a sir or dame (and he has).
If he wishes to wear a drum major uniform, it is the standard "circus-style" uniform as worn by Dark Wolf and a bunch of others; King Lacklund's uniform is a darker shade of blue (but not navy blue) with golden epaulettes and stripes. The shako has a silver star on it, and the plume attached to it is red.
If he wants to go casual, he'll alternate between business causal or street casual (a t-shirt and denim blue jeans or shorts with a belt).
Bio: Not much is known about the planet 1776 apart from the fact it had all red, white, and blue tigers, and it used the original 13-star American flag to represent it. It embraced American military fife and drum music as well, although the Royal Ensemble also has natural trumpets (bugles). It was quite the enigma according to its civilians, because even though it had these factors, it still had an absolute monarch and not a President of a rebelling population. It was described as a mix of American and British cultures, and it was attempting to progress forward (although it had a long way to go before it would reach the level Bengalia was at), and because it was progressing forward, CNG destroyed it.
When asked about the planet, King Lacklund frequently replies these are the most common reasons for why they still had a king. To quote the king:
1. I didn't treat my subjects like crap, even though whatever I said was the law. I didn't want to be like George III, who was mean and heartless towards the colonists. Why else do you they chose to fight back?
2. Given the structure of the planet, and where we were at progressively since every planet was somewhere in between the most technologically advanced of planets (Bengalia) and the least advanced (Kriegland), the citizens felt they needed a king.
3. It made for a funny paradox. Not the "ha, ha" funny, but the "gee, that's interesting" sort of funny.
King Lacklund is King Lacklund VII; he ascended to the throne at the age of 24 upon the death of Lacklund VI, and was married to Queen Lucia. Due to complications from various health issues, Lucia ended up dying while giving birth to her only son, who became Lacklund VIII. Consequently, various other relatives helped raise the prince to the best of their ability.
His reign as king lasted about 17 years tops; however, the prince's birth did not come until near the end of the planet's history. His approach, however, was to act as if he was limited by a constitution, even though he was an absolute monarch. He took suggestions from advisors and the public, and if it worked, they went with it. If it didn't, they tried a different idea.
Upon moving to Wildcat City upon arrival, the father and son lived in various apartments and townhouses before they moved into a 100%-accurate recreation of the drum-shaped mansion, donated to him by the city. (The city would do the same for the other three monarchs: King Leo V of Kriegland, King Lionel XVIII of Leonine, and King Ross II of Ratatat.)
It is not known where the king was or what he was doing when CNG got to him, or when it got to his son, but the prince did have a period of rebellious deliquency (which CNG was later found to have been the cause for, but at the time, Cripto's powers couldn't detect it; he just thought the prince made bad choices), as seen by the use of the king's credit card to make purchases to a secret underground shop that sold superhero costumes and gadgets to the G-52s; this is because the prince was captivated by the acts of the Marching Wonder (Leo the Tiger), and wanted to be a marching band-themed superhero himself. But this evident by how the king's net worth went from about its proper net worth at the time of $2.4 billion down to about $250,000, as well as the prince's bratty behavior that showed all through parts of his childhood.
King Lacklund struggled to keep his out-of-control son under control, and the purchases his son made only got worse until a fight broke out between the prince and the Marching Wonder, with the former taking out his two friends Blue and Pink. (Cripto revived them upon noticing the ruckus.) After the Marching Wonder won the battle, the king put his son under strict rehabiliation (as well as let him go to juvenile detention, which had strict reform programs), and at King Leo's suggestion, the prince went through marching punishment (carrying a heavy bass drum on his back while marking time, and doing it again with heavy bags full of gold coins), as well as other ways. The magical effects of the music led to a rapid recovery and U-turn for the prince, and he and the king reconciled. The king also got refunds for all the equipment, and the shop in return gave him a few items free of charge, all of which were designed to help him keep his son under control.
King Lacklund continues the Forsythian tradition of monarchs themselves playing musical instruments, being another percussionist. His son plays the fife and piccolo to fit the planet's heritage of embracing American fife and drum music, done to also help speed up his rehabilitation. (Note that the prince, by the team he reached the middle of adolescence, made a formal apology to Blue and Pink for his remarks, both verbally and physically by giving each of them a bouquet of flowers.) The king also homeschools his son, and will do so all the way through the high school level.
King Lacklund has since seen his net worth grow to about $8 billion, although it puts him in fourth place when compared to the other monarchs. That doesn't bother him, though; he says, "It's not how much money you have; it's what you do with it that counts." (The other monarchs rank as follows: King Lionel's net worth is approximately $24.8 billion, King Leo's net worth is about $29.1 billion, and King Ross's net worth is roughly $32.5 billion, making him the wealthiest living Forsythian in the universe.)
CNG-based research by the C.I.D.F. confirms his age is frozen at 35, making him older than Leo the Patriotic Lion and his parallels. His son is expected to freeze at the age of 22.
