The comic of Snagglepuss as a Tennessie Williams stand-in set in 50s NYC about McCarthyism and the Gay culture of the time (Snag is closeted and publicly “married” to a lion actress while dating his human Cuban boyfriend, Huckleberry Hound has an affair and moves to NYC and dates Quick Draw McGraw) is really great. Also has a R63 Roy Cohn who, like her IRL counterpart, has same-sex relationships but never came out and in public shamed and persecuted other queer people.
