So this was crazy! Got an opportunity to speak at a local international college in a class about “Deviant and Sub Cultures.” Basically furries!
It was an amazing, amazing experience. I really don’t even like saying this, but I think I did good. I was invited to the class by a new friend who was attending the class, and they and their classmates said I gave a good talk which just, wow. Hello low self esteem haha
The furry thing is I went in so shy I got into suit only just before entering the classroom and left it taking photos with college students. It was an AMAZING feeling. And, it could be reoccurring??? I got an invitation to possibly return next year upon offering if they even needed me again. I’m shocked how much they wanted me back, and shocked at all the positivity from the students who had a LOT of questions to ask.
Besides me, other furries came as well either by me or the one who put this all together asking! Beta who I’ve known a long while was there and was amazing. The brave guy even took off his head in class. Warzy and Ty were there and gave a lot of good energy! Also Rusty who I sadly know a bit less came, and they had by far the best looking suit IMO, a realistic big cat partial.
All and all it was just a great time.
Also Edra if you’re reading this, thanks for taking the time to help me out! I know it was your class but it wasn’t your project, so I appreciated the assistance a ton! And if anyone from the college is reading this first of all hi and second of all don’t tell me you found my page or I’ll die of embarrassment :P
