I originally painted this piece with darker, colder tones.
I can't quite figure out Mastema's outfit💔 Is the veil/hood even on his head? When Mastema turns his head to the side, does the veil twist with him? And how do I convince his open robe to stay on his body when his arms aren't pressing it in-place? 🤔
...😄 I've still yet to fully crack the secret to Mastema's looks, but at least I've stepped up from my first painting of him earlier this year!
