This project took more than a year to complete and, thanks to a gold fleece shortage, she still isn't. :-/ Still, this is Alika, my primary sona, whom I have since I joined the furry fandom 6 years ago. She has gone through a few changes since her early crochet model, but she is still my baby! The patter used was made by Fire and Fluff (DeviantArt account deactivated). It to a LOT of work and there was quite a bit of trial and error. Her eyes were much wonkier when I started and had to be fixed WAY late in the game. Gach loc and clip had to be made by hand and it took forever. I vowed to never made a character again with locs, but that won't last. :-P She may not be perfect, but I am really happy with how Akina turned out. She also cam out much bigger than I thought she would, at 6" x 8" x 16". She was challenging, but I can't wait to make my new sona, Coco! :-D
