I would prefer simple everything as well. :`D
Today's page is an important one for me. It's my attempt at highlighting how difficult it can be to 'just talk about it'. Of course in a perfect world, where self-doubt and anxiety don't exist this comic would have never been written. Sadly neither me, nor our silly and shy bird live in such a world. Sometimes in life we need to try out stuff first, try and find your own solutions, fail a few times, stumble and fall before we are bruised enough to accept the shame of properly asking for help and/or talking things through, despite having friends tell you the obvious answer.
I hope you will stick with me and Philip while he tries his best to navigate on his own. I promise he will come out the other end a smarter, stronger and more confident bird.
Now please enjoy: The return Anxious birb boy!

Not wanting to involve her is sadly a selfish way of thinking, because she's as much a part of this as he is. Communication is the core to any good relationship, something I had to learn the hard way, and constantly remind myself so I don't make the same mistakes. It can be hard, SUPER hard, even now, but things can't get better unless you talk to your partner about it. I look forward to him learning that lesson, I truly do, because he and Clover will be so much happier for it.
Ahck! Is Ben's laugh a reference to Scratch and Grounder, more specifically Scratch?
