Ha ha, no, Galapagos are on the contrary islands of EXTREMELY diversified species that can be encountered ONLY there due to their isolated situation until relatively recently, and it's because he studied the species that evolved there that Darwin made his evolutionary theory. I trully like it... it feel kind of frightening, not disturbing, but some grotesque.... it recalls me of the enemies of the mutant turtles, in the old beat-em-up videogame, those felt like the only enemies that could offer some real trouble to the turtles, while they were indestructible and so (they looked like made out of stone, strange design actually for a science fiction flick) anyways, I like how his one is a (probably) rogue mercenary hired against the turtles, that as a turtle himself, may know some of their weaknesses... interesting to say the least..... I know I could be like a million light-years far from anything that you were thinking about, but ey! it also inspired me!!!
