That's the trouble when you spend your whole life waging war on machines - sometimes it's hard to know when to stop fighting.
This is the second of my new Sonic the Hedgehog pictures (the first of which can be found here). I explained a little about the background to this work and how I have drawn the character before, albeit not for many years, as well as how this has influenced my current style.
This second picture was a further product of my experimenting back in November - although this was actually the first of the two pictures to be drawn out. This one plays much more on the macro rampage theme - something I don't draw too often (largely because drawing in things to stomp on is an absurdly complicated exercise) but something that is no doubt popular. Rather than allude to any violence however, I have kept the stomping to vehicles without making any statement on whether those vehicles have any occupants - you decide...
Whilst I had gone for colouring based on the original cartoon style in the first pic, this one reverts back to my normal style of colouring. I have to say, there's something about the colouring in this one that I can't quite put my finger on - from a distance it almost seems to possess a quasi-3D modelling quality about it. I do like it though. As for the background, I got rather lazy as usual, but it kinda suits the whole Sonic universe anyway.
Without further ado therefore, here's the pic - and comments always appreciated.

Heya mate!! Long time indeed! Though I was kinda thinking of you when I made this pic - I even sorta toyed with the whole 'tightrope-walking' thing - dunno if it came across that way.
Haven't forgotten about ya though! Just wish I had more time. Hopefully I'll get an opportunity over Christmas.
Hope you're keeping well, mate!

Your welcome and i would give anything to draw just 1/8 as good as you, but sadly i cant V_V lol But still this is the best Picture of Sonic and a Giant ive ever seen!!! and i didn't know you liked Sonic :D. Once again thank you for making this! ive waited a long time for something like this :D

Now HERE'S something you rarely see: giant SONIC stomping. Oh wow, you just showed another fantasy of mine in art form. X3; Of course, I like to imagine him barefoot, but I do, for some reason, like his big red shoes too. :3 Great job on the perspective, Rexar! I just love seeing Sonic with this kind of sadistic macro attitude. X3

Awesome drawing and there's a actually surprising lack of macro Sonic drawings with well, Sonic himself.
I just hope he hasn't hurt (stomped, eaten, etc.) Tails considering well, he creates allot of machines, technology and whatnot himself ^^;. Though at that size, I doubt much will stop him, even if he's wrong, or even if he stomps on his best friend ^^;.
Though oddly I can oddly see Tails enjoying Sonic being so big, don't know why XD.

II just hate sonic, i refuse to call him a hedgehog, because those things are actually adorable, sonic is just disturbing to me, i mean wtf is with his eye(s)? eyeballs are not connected in the middle :|
Really awesome pic though, would easily be one of my favorites on Fa if it was something else doing the stomping :c
