So I wanna do a lil collection of aeromorph characters who hang out with each other and I decided to make a ref sheet of these two boyfriends first.
David is a Convair F2Y Sea Dart, a (kinda) supersonic seaplane that never made it past the prototype stage. As Aeromorphs are cyborgs who undergo Plane Surgery TM, he is a man that underwent the first and only surgery to become a prototype plane. He regrets becoming a Sea Dart because his skis have left him with chronic leg plane, i mean pain. He resents the military for essentially experimenting on him.
David married a Concorde later in life and they had a daughter together (a hybrid plane btw), but he divorced his wife due to his no longer repressed homosexuality. He began to spend less and less time going outside, only occasionally guiltily going to gay bars. He met Rudy one night and the two stayed in touch for awhile, slowly coming together before recently starting to go out together.
Outside of gay escapades with his cute bf, David likes to watch a lot of TV, read a lot of older fantasy, hang out with his predominately human neighbors now (as he can't fly due to too much pain during take off he is not employed in the aviation industry), and chat with his fellow Aeromorph buddies he's met through Rudy at a private hanger (these compose most of the cast). He espically likes the F/A-18E/F Super Hornet resident, who joined the Navy under their sponsored aeromorph surgery program before immediately deserting. The two enjoy drinking and eating on the couch and hackling together.
Rudy is a lil less developed. He's mainly David's boyfriend. He's a very friendly fellow, loves hanging out with other aeromorphs, and is slightly vain. The only thing he loves more than his own ass is David's.
Rudy is the son of two Sunderlands who served in WW2, making him a second generation Aeromorph, a swiftly growing demographic. Many people consider it a shame that he never had any children "even though he's bi". It's just not his thing. He does heavily enjoy hanging around David's grandchildren, but only because its not long term. Rudy works for him and David as he is a bit younger and more spry, plus he just enjoys it. He does VIP rides for aviation enthusiast (note that Aeromorphs can turn into their model plane at an accurate size, so they have an anthro and feral form that is aeromorph and aeroplane). He does most of this work out of the airfeild associated with the cast hangar.
