Yep, often having lots of bright/saturated colors can be distracting or not feel right to the eye. Having less saturated colors with some brighter ones helps make everything pop, for example your yeen's hair looks really eye-catching and gives a great highlight to the piece, contrasting but not competing with the less-bright colors of the clothes and armor.
