Short-form backstory while it’s fresh in my mind!

Manta Woman was created to monitor and aid in removal/neutralization of sea mines alongside human personnel and countermeasure ships. She is able to use the lobes around her helmet to sense and receive data on potential activation triggers as she sweeps the area and the drone remoras to watch her surroundings. At some point, she was captured/stolen by pirates while on route to the next minefield and was reprogrammed to aid in disrupting naval/shipping routes, as well as to search for sunken treasure and usable weaponry.

She was eventually found in a net by a shrimping boat, her body heavily damaged. Manta woman was then recovered by her original creator and her body + original programming restored. Unfortunately, whatever incident occurred had left her shaken and unable to efficiently assist the others. She now has a new purpose as a guide, scuba and diving instructor for adults and children around the local reefs and shoals, which she thoroughly enjoys.
