On a cold winter's night, sometime after last call at Juna's tavern, Snowfur hops up on Juna's lap after having great difficulty falling asleep. Both warmed by the glowing embers of the fireplace in her room, Juna pulls out an old book of tales and fables and reads Snowfur a bedtime story. Little do they know that one day in the seemingly distant future, the two of them will be spoken of in a remarkable bedtime story that will be told for ages to come.


I've been wanting to draw this up for MONTHS! Tried quite a few times but each one didn't turn out all that well until this one. Not exactly Christmas-y but it's about time I get in a full-scene drawing from Demordicai Diamonds. The idea actually came from Professor Awesome in the form of a special request months ago. Took me all day to draw, ink, and color this one.


Interesting Fact: Unlike some of the folks in Aspen Village, Juna is actually fairly literate.
