‘Hula Girl! Are you okay? What happened?’
‘Oh, hey Ember. Nothing much, just an evil robot duplicate,… it happens all the time to big super heroes like me, no big deal.’
‘Wait,… what? And what is that sound?’

In the October Patreon picture from
shonuff44 it looks like Ember arrives to help just alittle too late, the battle with Mecha Hula Girl is over,… or is it? ;)
It seems that Hula Girl’s epic takedown of her robotic doppelganger Mecha Hula Girl has attracted some attention, starting with Ember, come to see if her friend is okay. I love how casual Hula Girl is about all this, clearly it was no big deal, despite the smoldering crater behind her, though the torn leaves tell a different story, and I adore the little fire on her left shoulder, that doesn’t phase her at all, cause she is fire proof after all, and her long hair flowing behind her is just lovely. The lighting effects on Hula Girl are great, the way light from the smoldering wreckage shines off of her skin and hair is such a great touch. Ember truly looks concerned as she rushes in, spear at the ready, her hair flowing behind her gives a great sense of motion, accented by the ribbons from her spear and the spindly things from her hair flower, as well, as the blurring around her feet. And of course those ominous eyes shining through the smoke behind Hula Girl, sure those don’t bode poorly for our island heroines. Stay tuned and find out. ;)
Thank you for another amazing image, ShoNuff. :).

The smoke cleared and Hula girl is coming out unscathed ;). And it looks like Ember came as soon as she saw what was going on. Though it looks like she's a bit too late for the party. Or maybe she's just in time ;). In either case, still cool to see the still flaming crater behind Hula Girl :). Though the smoke does give an ominous feeling. Regardless, great work from Sho once again :).
Well, not quite 'unscathed', her leaves are torn, she's looks alittle beat up and her shoulder is on fire. ;). Yeah, I'd say it looks like she's right on time. ;). Yeah, the flaming crater looks good, and the smoke is supposed to feel ominous, especially with the eyes glowing through it. ;). Indeed, amazing work from Sho. :)
I like how after dealing with a Mecha duplicate, getting scratched up, having torn leaves and literally being on fire, Hula Girl just acts like it's a regulair Tuesday, defiantly makes you think if stuff like this is actually what she deals with regularly or she's just playing it off to look as good as always.
Either way, quite a lot to progress for Ember who despite having her own set of villains can still be amazed at what Hula Girl will sometimes get up to, though she at least cares enough to still come running.
Amazing pic right here! :)

Haha, yeah, it is pretty fun how she seems unphased by all of that, and is literally on fire, like it's a normal thing, but it certainly does make you wonder if it's a regular thing, or if she's just acting to look good, possibly both. ;).
Yeah, that is true, despite all that she goes through on her own island with her own villains she can still be surprised by what Hula Girl deals with, and of course, she worries about her friends. :)
Indeed, glad you like it. :)
