Nick is a cocky and arrogant boy who is known for being a bit of a bully to other students. But maybe he just needs to talk with someone? Someone who is good with helping students overcome their problems through his own methods. This may be the counselling he requires.

The bell for fifth period rang and students began moving from their areas over the course of lunch to their designated classes. The sea of colored clothing moved into the buildings, gathering around lockers. A mix of conversations would be heard by all and many other sounds such as footsteps, lockers slamming and paper being shaken as people moved filled the ears of anyone around.
"This day will never end." Says a boy with black hair wearing a black shirt with a multicolored image of what looks like a shark on it. He was average height and wore grey shorts with black sneakers. Looking over his phone he walked through the halls and towards his next class in room 2-E. Walking past several people one of which noticed him. This guy was young only about twenty and had a clean smooth face, brown hair cut short and neat and gem like green eyes. He wore a white t-shirt with a thin grey vest over the top. He had light blue jeans and black shoes looking smartly casual. Samuel Tarm the school's careers adviser.
"Better get a move on Nick." He says moving past the boy. Nick looked up and snickered as he walked off to his office.
"Smug ass." Nick says under his breath as he reaches his class. By now most people were in their class and sitting down. No teacher was in the room os everyone sat around chatting in their seats. Nick went up and took a spare seat near the middle and pretended to be on his phone while listening in to everyone. "Nothing interesting." He says under his breath as a messages appears on his phone. Looking at the screen he snickers at the message before writing a reply.
After a minute of sitting and listening Nick noticed the room began to quiet down to a still silence. Looking ahead to the front of the class he saw the teacher was in the room. He wasn't an old guy he looked about mid thirties. He wore a brown jumper and dark blue, almost black jeans.
"Ok class pull out your books. We are going to take some notes." He says placing his laptop on the desk and starting it up. Nick snickered and continued texting on his phone. No one seemed to notice until he received a response and started laughing. The teacher looks over to him and sneers. "Nick we are taking notes put the phone away now." He orders.
"Yea yea hang on." He says casually as if talking down to him. The teachers face scrunches.
"I said now Nick!" He says with a raised tone. Nick replies by rolling his eyes.
"Fine." He says turning his phone off and putting it in his pocket. "Happy?" He days with hints of anger and annoyance in his tone.
"Nick escort yourself to Mr Tarms office now and leave this horrific attitude there." He says writing a note. "Take this and leave." Nick rolls his eyes again as he gets up and grabs the note.
"Whatever you say." He says leaving the room and slamming the door.
He wandered through the halls of the school, peeking into classes as he went by. He looked up at the room codes until he came to room 3-K. "Can't believe I gotta talk with this tool." He mumbles as he opens the door with a fake smile. When the door open Sam looks over at him curiously.
"Hello Nick. What brings you here?" He says relaxing into his chair.
"Not my own free will sir. I was sent here by my teacher." He says handing over the note. Sam takes it and looks it over mumbling slightly as he reads.
"On your phone during class time plus rude and disrespectful behavior." Sam sighs. "What ever will we do with you?" He laughs gently. Nick just sits into the chair and looks back to his phone. Sam rubs his head gently and looks at him. "You shouldn't be on your phone so much. At least in class."
Nick looks up at him and laughs. "Why should it bother you? I know you won't punish me for these things. Not like this is our first time meeting." Sam thought about this and nods.
"Yes too true. You have been here a bit. Often for bullying. Why do you do that? Why can't you just relax and be nice to people?" Sam asks calmly. Nick lowers his phone.
"I don't wanna. It's fun to tease people. They will get over it." He says in his cocky and well prepped tone. "Like being on my phone I can do what I want." Sam nods and agrees looking at his own phone.
"You know if your into your phone that much maybe I can interest you in a little app?" He says flicking through his phone.
"An app?" Nick asks curiously.
"Yea an app. I assume you know what one is. I have one which is just perfect for a kid like you. It could really help you out." He says smirking confidently.
"Your a smart ass. Of course I know what an app is." Nick looks down with a sullen look. "Fine lets see it then. If you're so confident it will ‘help me'." He says using his hands to quotation 'help me'.
Sam smirks and holds his phone in front of him. He has it about fifty centimeters from his face as he touches a button in the center. A purple and red blurred spiral appears from the center and begins spiraling out.
"A spiral?" Nick says with a confused look.
"Yea does it bother you?" Sam asks looking at him with a caring glare. Nick gently bites his lower lip and chuckles.
"What you gonna try and hypnotize me?" He says laughing.
"Why would I do that? Can't you just look at a spiral? I mean it is fairly relaxing and soothing but that doesn't mean it is meant to hypnotize you." Sams says slowing his tone and breathing. Nick notices his own breathing slowing as he stares at the spiral almost zoning out for a second before snapping back.
"Oh? Oh yea well I doubt a silly app could hypnotize me." He says still full of confidence. Same smirks deeply and looks back at Nick's eyes which are slowly getting heavy as he seemed transfixed on the spiral.
"Yea a silly idea. To think that a spiral could relax you. Or calm you. Or make you so sleepy." He says keeping it steady. Nick doesn't respond and stares at the spiral with blank and empty eyes starting to drool slightly. He catches himself drooling and snaps back out of it.
"What? Did I just zone out again?" He asks himself out loud. Sam snickers and smiles gently while breathing slowly.
"Yea I think you did. Just zoning out and relaxing. Must feel good huh? To just relax and sleep." Sam says as Nick's eyes lock with the phone and his face turns sloped and relaxed. His eyes flutter as he begins to drool again and stares into the spiral. He groans lightly and stares more and more. Sam sees this and notices just how entranced he is. "And just sleep Nick." He says snapping his fingers. The moment his fingers click Nick's head falls forward and arms go limp.
Sam smiles and turns off his phone. He looks at Nick who is slumped and deeply hypnotized in the chair and gently chuckles.
"See. It is so much better to relax and be calm." He says talking to Nick in a soft and gentle tone. 'But what to do with him now?' He thinks to himself. 'He does need to relax and learn about respecting others. I think this calls for some more sessions.' With a smirk Sam walks around to Nick. "Ok Nick you have to calm down. You need to respect others and focus in class. It won't do anyone good if you keep resisting and antagonizing people. So please just relax in class and listen." He says putting his hand on the back of Nick's head. "Now you are gonna need to come back here everyday for the next few weeks at lunch. When the bell rings you will immediately put your things away, get your food and eat it on your way here. It will be all you can think about until you're told otherwise." He implants the suggestions into his latest tranced student. "Just coming here and not worrying about anything. Now in a moment I will wake you. I will count from three to one and snap my fingers. When I snap my fingers you will wake up and feel refreshed and happy. Refreshed, happy and ready to listen and learn." He says giving the words a moment to seek in. "Three. Two. One." He says snapping his fingers as he sits back in his own chair. Nick's eyes flutter open and his posture returns as he looks around.
"Did I zone out again?" He says looking confused.
"Yea. You just went a little blank for a moment. It was fine though. But it is almost sixth period. Why don't you head back to class and apologize to your teacher?" Sam says looking at him intently. Nick thinks for a moment before responding.
"Yea. You are probably right." He says with a laugh. "Thanks for this Sam. Maybe I needed to just get out for a moment." He says with a smile on his lips.
"That's right probably was a little stress." Sam chuckles. "Now off to class and have a good day." He waves him off.
"I will bye." Nick says walking out the door and closing it behind him smiling and keeping his phone off as he returns to class.
