Milkshakes Do a Body Good
My half of an art-trade with
zephr.
Natasha's belly undergoes a sudden growth spurt after drinking several milkshakes at a local diner. Apparently she forgot that a pregnant Ratton, like herself, will become even more pregnant after consuming large quantities of food; and since she downed 27 milkshakes in a row (29 if she had been given the two milkshakes currently held by a mildly confused waitress), Natasha still has a ways to go before her boisterously budding womb stops growing.
Who knew ice cream-based drinks were so nutritious to unborn Ratton babies? =3

Definitely late to responding to this image specifically, but allow me to bow down and give you props for the swift and awesome job!
I originally had the Rattons automatically carry 100 offspring per litter and have them birth within a day, but over time, I've been making them a little more lenient than that. What you say here, about her getting more pregnant with more milkshakes, actually gave me a good idea on how Ratton pregnancies work.
When pregnant with a purebred species (Ratton + Ratton), the above applies. However, things differ when other species enter. For most, when pregnant, they carry a usual pregnancy of about 5-10 offspring, but overabundance of food can result in additional children forming inside the womb. What comes as a big concern is that Ratton mothers are HEAVY eaters when pregnant. Like a dog to a meal, they almost cannot stop themselves when a craving hits. I mean, when you give them a cake, they'll eat it.
They'll love it, at least until the litter grows as a result. As for when the pregnancy ends, that is also usually decided by the father of the litter. The usual Ratton pregnancy will not exceed 100 offspring, although reports suggest that with certain hyperfertile fathers are involved, the numbers might...exceed that.
...I've ranted, woops :P Either way, Natasha better get some help before she falls forward!
Still working on stuff. Hopefully I'll get your image done soooon.
