I worked as a volunteer at a hospital... 50 years ago. I spent an afternoon helping out in the Emergency Room because they were short handed. One of the City cops was brought in; A Korea veteran, he'd been in a bad fight with a suspect who didn't want to go back to jail. Then the suspect came in.
Good thing the sight of blood doesn't bother me.
Veterans' Day is Every Day.
Or better yet, not. Especially if you've just eaten.
