This is Kazuo Oga, named after the painter for miyazaki's films! hes an amazing artist my artist bf and I thought this snake was so beautiful the name was fitting.
so with his blue belly and cheeks and green top this is Kazuo!
He is a He, but he was given up by his previous owner because he is sterile and unable to make babies. BUT that means we got him for a cheap price and were able to give him a great home!
and i almost forgot to mention,
he is a Kunashiri Island Japanese Rat Snake (mouthful i know!)

I think shipping them really freaks them out, 4 were hatchlings. Whenever they arrived they for the most part never ate, besides maybe a couple times. My last girl was doing fine and eating regularly, then fall came and she stopped. She didn't have enough weight on her to last the season. :c
