Cathode Propulsion pack rough sketch
"WHAT NOW?! IT FUCKIN' FLIES??"
Rough 3d sketch of turborocket add-on for my feral fox Character Cathode to acheive air superiority. The 2 engines can be tilted individualy for VTOL and thrust vectoring.
Kerosine is stored in the 3 external propallant tanks. Every component can be quickly jettisoned once Cathode lands to enable him swiftly run and maul his enemies like usual.
System Specs (for now):
Dry Weight: 31kg
Max Takeoff weight: 15kg (cybenetically augmented red fox with gun) + 31kg dry weight + 20kg propellant = 66kg
Max. Thrust: 3000N
Thrust to weight ratio: 4.5
Control: Direct wired Brain machine interface
Armament: 3x Heat seeking air to air misslies shown. Drone pods, extra missiles, fixed mount machinegun can be added. Cathode can also shoot whatever gun he carries under him inflight. Might add a massive forward facing fixed mount spear like the thing on a swordfish for him to ram and skewer when he is flying close to the ground.
Mechanical design is mainly Inspired by Ikaruga, Gundam, Megaman and highfleet.

Given that it can produce ~ 306 kgf, I think your "max takeoff weight" is extremely conservative…
I'm also getting some serious Armored Core 4 Answer vibes here! (1:15 - 2:55; and given the smoke and flame characteristics of that thing, I suspect it's burning a borane-based "zip" fuel, rather than any of the carbon-based solid fuels that would produce similar smoke; there's no characteristic orange flame from hot carbon)
I'm also getting some serious Armored Core 4 Answer vibes here!
