As an attempt to get myself out of this rut, I managed to finally scrounge up the strength to draw something worth presenting. My pent up emotions were poured into this piece of artwork. Heartache, misery, depression, and much more all just let loose as I let the pen glide across my tablet. Don't like? Don't look.

I am extremely proud and extremely happy with how this turned out considering my quality of work as of late. So please, no crits. I hope you all like it as much as I do. ^^
Would you like to watch how I draw? Finally, here you go! A video of the whole process! (save for my ugly, time consuming sketching) Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W2h5oJNxVlU
Original time taken from start to finish: Aprox. 2 hrs.

Very lovely. I love her expression. :3 And I love how you drew her paws.
Vent art is always good and helpful. Heck, the entirety of the animation project I started this past semester was nothing but a giant vent art piece. I hated that I had to create some reason and rhyme for it though.

Her expression was more...anguished then I first entended. As during the video for Katy Perry's "Firework" smiles are typically worn after the fireworks start going of...but I wasn't exactly smiling while drawing this. LOL So it wouldn't be all the true to how I felt. I, too, love those paws. :3
I've never let my art be a source of venting until now. But I'm glad I did this time...it felt so good. This piece only took two hours...compared to the other three hours it took just for me to find a screen recording software..-_-
