So, I used to be fairly heavily into origami, starting all the way back in high school; I'm a bit out of practice these days, but still try my hand at it every so often. (I even did a set of origami fox an d panther party decorations for a friend's wedding many years ago, for which I absolutely did not charge enough money for the amount of work it required.)
Anyway, got reminded of things because another friend pointed out that November the 11th, which is Remembrance Day here in Canada, is also World Origami Day. (And given that the origami crane is considered a peace symbol in Japan, probably for some of the same reasons on that day.) And while I'm still a bit stalled on the next Sketch Upgrade chapter, one of the things I had in mind was Alicia creating an origami liger figure for Lyta to 'inhabit' so she could move around in the 'real world' and be carried around with Alicia without causing too many questions.
So while I didn't get the story done in time, I did get this done, at least. And yes, this is a single sheet of paper that was yellow on one side and orange on the other, starting with a square 15cm (6") to a side, and resulting in a tiger-like design about 5.5cm (2 1/4") from head to tail. I really need to try this again with a larger sheet of paper, as those little folded stripes get really fiddly.
(I didn't create the original design, that's from Origami Inside-Out by John Montroll, which is a book entirely for designs that use both sides of a double-sided sheet of paper. Which includes a chessboard. With all 64 squares.)

"I'm creased to purrfection!"
I've never worked with origami past the extremity of basics, but I've had fun perfecting those basics in the past. I like Paper Lyta Liger, I do! May I ask what camera you used to take the picture herein, whether smartphone or dedicated digital camera?

This was just with my smartphone (a Samsung Galaxy S10, so not the latest by any stretch), having set the figure up on a blank sketchbook page with the sketchbook open to act as a background.
I haven't done a whole lot of creative origami, but there is at least one rabbit pattern that I made myself.
