Continuation of my everyday cocktails I came up with on the fly. This time I've included 2 hot drinks to warm you up during the cold seasons. Much like the fist batch, I do not know if these drinks actually exist under different names. They're just ones I made up as I was going along.
Drink #1 Top Left: "Die Tea"
You've probably heard of "Thai Tea" but what about "DIE tea." Cuz you'll die if you drink too many or... something.
You will need:
-ice cubes
-hot water
-Thai tea bag
-Nigori Coconut Milk Sake
Start by boiling some water. Fill up 2 cups worth and add the tea bag. Allow time to brew and steep, then let completely cool down to room temperature. Once cooled, add ice and fill to the top with the sake. (Depending on how high your glass is, it should be at least 2 shots worth)
Drink #2 Top Right: "Dragon's Blood"
This one has some very specific ingredients, but it's totally worth it. Trust me.
You will need:
-ice cubes
-Sambazon Dragonfruit (I have only ever seen this at Costco, so good luck finding it if you don't have a Costco membership)
-1 shot of grenadine
-2 shots of dragonfruit melon vodka
Add the ice followed by the 2 shots (or more) of vodka followed by the grenadine. Fill to the top with Sambazon and give it a quick stir.
Drink #3 Bottom Left: "Hard Apple Cider"
Nothin' like a hot cider on a cold day to make you feel better and warm.
You will need:
-Alpine hot apple cider mix (or if you have a Keurig or generic K cup coffee maker, grab a pack of the K cups to make it way easier.
-hot water
-Little Smokey Apple Pie Moonshine (or any apple based alcohol preferably whiskey type)
-cinnamon (optional)
-honey (optional)
You can usually find these tiny mason jars of Little Smokey at any major alcohol store. Grab some of those, they're the best! Add half the mini jar (or all of it)s worth into a tall mug. If you have a Keurig, place in the pod in with the mug underneath and press the 10 oz button. If not, then boil 10oz of water, fill to the top, then add the alpine cider packet. Also add the cinnamon/and or honey if you so desire. Cinnamon will make it spicier, honey will make it sweeter. Although it's pretty sweet by itself. Give it a good stir.
Drink #4 Bottom Right: "Dutch Apple Coffee"
We all know of Irish Coffee, so this time let's go Dutch!
You will need:
-1 caramel apple pie k cup coffee pod (if you don't have a Keurig... well good luck finding caramel apple coffee by itself. Sorry.)
-2 tablespoon of brown sugar
-2 tablespoons of granulated sugar (raw cane sugar works even better but I know not everyone has that just laying around)
-2 shots (or more) of Fireball Cinnamon Whiskey
-whipped cream
Add the whiskey, brown sugar, and granulated sugar to a large coffee mug (or glass). Inset the coffee pod with the mug underneath and press the 10 oz button. Once brewed and filled, give it a good stir. After stirring, add a heavy amount of whipped cream on top. The cream will slowly melt into the coffee. Drink at your own leisure.
I have no specification on what makes them bum drinks. Just mixed drinks composed of 2-4 ingredients that are super easy to make with household ingredients. Any bum drinks ya'll would recommend, let me know.
