you know this reminds me a lot of a scene from Watership Down. My sister loved that movie as a kid and we'd probably watch it at least once a month. I love the use of color here though, especially with the tree.

Intense piece. Good job.

I think this piece turned out rather beautiful for the outer part of the tree as you did an excellent job on the coloration of the bark and even more so on the leaves. The inner part of the tree and the character however conveys something more nightmarish (in a good way) and I think you did really well in portraying a sense of suffering and pain from the twisted body and the expression of anguish. The stake was a nice focal point and the gleem from the wire came out nicely too, but I think the claw marks were a really nice touch for the given piece. It almost seems to suggest a sense of hidden pain too by the way the rabbit is covered by the tree base and the claw marks are only on the inside – basically, to me, suggesting something is wrong on the inside but not shown on the outside (I could be wrong on that though).
