Another "Ghost Of Inktober" post. Everyday life/work/mild-injury interrupted my planned "Inktober" posts ....
my Jungle Queen character created back when i was 13 or 14 transformed into a were-big-cat at the end of the first 20 page comix story - the were-cat informs her mutant team mates that she is Shawa and that her more human-looking form is part of a slit personality that also includes a wild big cat and a house cat body/personality - all this due to her being partially human while also having a shape-shifting alien in her DNA ....
The original drawing of this had weirdly distorted proportions - i was going for maximum shock value. So i did the digi "sawing-the-lady-in-half" to move parts of the original inking to a new somewhat-normal proportioned sketch.
The background cross-hatching is from a page i did with trad pens an scanned to use with my digital "Fox Appeal ("sex-appeal)" series. Used here by permission of the author (snerk!)

When we first meet the character she is an English actress who has been playing a "Jungle Queen" in the 1930's serials ... when she is approached by a secret organization to join a group of international mutants to defend the Earth it is 1975 and she hasn't aged a year. The other members of this Earth Defense Group wonder why she dresses like that and chain smokes ... later on they find out she wasn't present during the '40s - early '70s ... and that she isn't an English actress ... and is actually an alien who is unstuck in time - and engaged with a long war with being from another dimension seeking to completely destroy our universe - etc etc etc ...
Marvel Comics was reprinting all these Jungle Queen comics from the '50s back then, and i had the idea of an alien who thought all that was her history to seal away what actually happened as she was being hunted by this extra dimensional being seeking to destroy our universe.
Five generations of these mother and daughters caught in a moebius loop of a time anomaly that the bad guy was trying to use to destroy our universe . An excuse for a SF universe full of aliens and superheroes ....Ya gotta do something with your teenage years .....
