Knowing full well that they cannot simply run away they turn and begin fighting, a little bit more desperately too, at that. I half wonder if they are somewhat regretting taking out one of their own since if they hadn’t it would likely be an even fight right now, at least in regards to matchups. Instead, we have the slight advantage. And I’m sure they’re also starting to factor in that the odds of them winning this battle now is likely out the window if not extremely difficult. I suppose it depends primarily on how strong they view the two newcomers. However, there is one distinct difference between the four of us. So long as I’m in play if any of them loses they get hit with the curse. If I’m removed from play then that problem goes out the window and the worst that’ll happen is they get arrested.

Naturally, then, they do what they probably should have done at the start and have all of their pokemon trying to focus me down, to take me out of the fight before any more of their number fall, assuming I’m still weakened by that last hit. But with two more people to aid in our own fight, I don’t have to focus on the offense right now. And with the time to catch my breath a bit before the fight resumed I’m able to focus primarily on my footwork. And I have to keep an eye on the Rocket members as well, make sure none of them try to make a break for it. At the same time I’m not dumb enough to trust the two new fighters completely.
