Jelethorim asked for a very interesting commission. I was really digging this pic, from beginning to end.


The idea here was that he's in the duct work of a spaceship looking through some things for all kinds of spy-like purposes, and halfway through sketching I was thinking that he should above a hallway, above the lighting fixtures hiding in the darkness above it.

Can you imagine looking up to see those scales flopped around and above the lighting above you and slowly moving with stealthy efficiency? And a hand.


Got to use a few methods I've been wanting to try. A few problems with lighting here and there, I'm sure you can see them, and a horrible "character stands out too much from the background" look as well. Can't stand that. I'll need to keep an eye out for preventing that next time. But I think I'm slowly moving to where I want/need to be.
