A few months ago I had the great honor of doing the art illustration for the extremely talented Matthew Ebel's (better known around these parts as  hali) latest release, Songs from the Vault, volume 3. I've been a fan of his music since I saw him live at AnthroCon this summer, so I was delighted when he asked me (read: gave in to my pitiful begging) to do the album art for his next album.

This is the uncropped version, since the style for the Songs from the Vault series is to have Mr. Ebel standing in the same attitude, in the same place, while everything else changes around him. The pineapple and the chicken were entirely my idea, and he was kind enough to like it. The shirt and the chicken (though not the pineapple) are references to songs on the album.
