Clarice from "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer"

This was my first attempt ever at inking and coloring a picture on the computer. I drew a pencil sketch of Clarice last year at the end of November 2009 (now in my scraps), and finally tried my hand at coloring her back in February 2010. Turned out pretty good, I am pleased with how it came out for what it is- done entirely by mouse, not a tablet, and it looks much better than the B&W pencil sketch, still keeping it simple with no shading, as I haven't learned how to do that yet. So I did this way back in February, but was waiting to post it until Christmastime, which is now finally upon us. Last week I sketched a nice wintery Christmasy background for it, but cannot get any time to work on coloring it, so for now I'm posting Clarice by herself here as I will not be able to get the background done before the holidays hit.
