I started this many MANY months ago. After everything happened, i deleted it, stuffing this and any other piece featuring Kane into the recycle bin, including his unfinished anthro ref. As time went on, i started to heal and anything involving him wasnt as painful, or really at all anymore. When he reached out to me a month or so ago, i was so hesitant, so scared. I had no idea what he would say or what to do, so i did what i do best, i listened. He explained everything (i had a pretty good guess as to what happened but it felt good to have a solid reason), and took full accountability for what he did. I respect that, far more then he probably realizes. I went to see him again, after everything thats happened in either of our lives, and it was nice. I missed him so much, the man was my best friend, the one i wanted to spend my life with, and to have that ripped away so suddenly, it hurt, alot. He missed me as well, said he thought about me daily, it was quite the emotional reunion. I look forward to when ill see him again, hence the title. With everything settling down, i pulled most of those trashed pieces from the bin and SLOWLY started working on them one by one.
