I'd also write fragile everywhere, and really big. Otherwise things tend to get thrown around.

My experience begs to differ but could be a difference in shippers. Could put it in a box of packing peanuts, then put that box in an ever bigger box with more peanuts!

I've heard numerous people at UPS say that even if a box is labeled fragile, there's not really enough time to treat it differently, because of how their package handling works. I've heard this is universal, but don't have much first-hand from other companies.

My boxes from USPS usually come in pretty good. I know how UPS works, that's the reason I never applied. hahah
