RWBY Dreams Reborn Volume V / Episode 9
Episode 9: “Untold Truths”
(The scene starts with the rain pouring in Mistral. In a lonely tree Falco looks at his scroll of the names of the Huntsman’s they need to recruit. As he scroll by each name, his twin sister Swana shows up with her white umbrella)
Swana: Checking on the names?
Falco: (Sees Swana’s approach) *sigh* This job seems it’s going to be a challenge, but a hard challenge for us Highwinds.
Swana: Yeah, yeah real funny. (looks at his twins scroll) Soo… Where’s Qrow?
Falco: He said that he will go to some places that might know where some of them are while we head to some places in hopes to find the rest.
Swana: I see. If I recall that he wants us to meet him later after we done with our task?
Falco: Yep. (puts away his scroll and picks up his black umbrella) And we should begin our search.
Swana: Yeah. We should. (Walks away) See you later.
(As she walks away, Falco takes a moment to himself before opening his umbrella and walks in the opposite direction. The scene later shows Qrow, Falco and Swana going to door to door in searching for the people they need to find and recruit, but they couldn’t find any of them. As it later shows Qrow arriving to a house, Falco in his Falcon form lands on a roof and whatches the events that occurs)
Qrow: Look, pal, I've had a rough day. Do you know where she is or not?
Small Girl: Daddy? (walking up next to her father) Does he know where Mommy is?
(Having realized that Heather was missing in action, or worse, Qrow immediately regrets his mistake)
Qrow: I um... I'm sorry to bother you.
(The man and his daughter go back into their house. Qrow walks back out into the rain. He removes his flask from his shirt and considers taking another drink from it, but decides not to. Upon him looking at the roof he sees a Falcon staring at him. Knowing that it’s probably Falco checking up on him begins to walk away from the area before showing signs of worriedness. Falco started to feel bad of the situation and e takes off into the raining skies)
(At the park, he looks up at the Mistral Bounty mission boards, listed as the following names and mission of the people he and the Highwind twins are looking for. Qrow sighs and takes a seat on a nearby bench, realizing that all of his contacts, let alone many others on the mission board, were nowhere to be found. At a distance, Swana look at Qrow and realizes the same situation of the missing in action huntsman’s and feels bad for him. However, in that moment she starts to suspect that something is going on and decides to leave the area and meet with Leonardo for answers)
(As the scene shows the skies above, a lonely white swan was flying towards Haven Academy. As it was heading there, a black Falcon is flying next to the swan. As they look at each other they nodded and decided to head toward the Academy together, revealing that the black falcon is Falco and the white swan is Swana)
(Back in Haven Academy, Leonardo is seen having a conversation with someone in his office)
Leonardo: You want me to do what? No and no, I won’t do it. I have sacrifices enough huntsmen’s to please Salem and I won’t send the remaining staff to meet their demise. And you must understand that I have a reputation to these people. I can’t just turn their backs on them.
(As the scene rotates, it’s revealed that he is having a conversation with Luxu)
Luxu: Mister Lionheart, you must understand that this is all for the greater good. Your assistance is quite appreciated; however, we can’t allow having just a few huntsmen’s still roaming around the school grounds. (approaches towards him and stops in front of him) We need you to send the remaining staff so we can enter the school unchallenged, can you do that?
(Leonardo trembles in fear for a moment, but he musters his courage to make a stand)
Leonardo: I won’t do it.
Luxu: (confused) Excuse me?
Leonardo: I said that I won’t do it, you hear me. I’m sick and tired of using me as a mere puppet to your schemes. I’m the headmaster of Haven Academy and Ozpin’s loyal ally, and you want to think that I would betray his loyalty to sell myself out to you or Salem? Arthur is not here so I should be afraid to the likes of you. So I will stand my ground and to tell you what… I would even tell the others about this. What do you think of that?
(Luxu only smiles and laughs softly to his bravery. However his bravery is cut short when Luxu loses his composure, slams Leonardo to the wall and holds him by the neck with his shoulder. He the proceeds to tell him)
Luxu: Do you really take me for a weakling?! What gives you the right to say such things? You’re in no position to say such things like that.
(Leonardo began to tremble in fear once again due to Luxu’s hostility. When he notice this he backs off and regains his composure)
Luxu: Ahem. Sorry… I lost myself there. But like I said, you’re in no position to say such things like that. You may be all talk, but you don’t bite the hand it feeds you. And besides, if you would ever compromise our operations, you would leave me no choice but notify this to Salem.
(With him mentioning Salem’s name, Leonardo was put back into line)
Luxu: Now you truly understand your place, huh old man? You know… my “lord” doesn’t like people who would disobey his order nor does he like does who would challenge his authority. Only complete obedience is allowed around here and I hope you do the same. Now I will say again, you will send the remaining staff to some false mission, in which Tyrian and Apocalypse would handle the rest, understood?
Leonardo: (Relents) *sigh* I will. I’ll send them away.
Luxu: Good. I will expect a full report of your actions. (turns and leaves, but stops at the door) You know, I don’t understand why Ozpin chose you? To be honest your just as pathetic as Ironwood.
(With that, he leaves the office, leaving Leonardo alone. After he lets out a sigh he looks at the window to see a beautiful swan standing outside of his window. He opens it and began to compliments the swan’s beauty. He tries to feed the bird with some seeds but the swan, been Swana in her Swan form, angrily pecks his hands in discus and flies away. Leonardo clutches his hand tight as he endures the pain. When he looks back he sees a black Falcon, which is Falco, staring at him with disappointment. After that, he flies away to the same direction as the swan)
(Leonardo began to question himself if joining the wrong side leads to him having this bad reaction towards him, but still fears for Salem’s wrath)
(At the Branwen Tribe camp, Vernal pours cups of tea for Raven, Yang, and Weiss Schnee, with Frost, Edgar and Sebastian’s cups already been filled by her. They are all inside Raven's tent with the latter six seated around a table with Jolt being seen standing behind Raven for further instructions from Frost)
Raven: (to Vernal) You can wait outside. Thank you.
(Vernal does so and leaves before giving some reassurance to his foster son)
Yang: So, what's the "truth"?
(As Raven takes her sip of her cup, Frost began to explain)
Frost: The “truth” is something that would be difficult to understand if you’re willingly accepts the reality of things. If not, then it would be difficult for you to comprehend it.
Edgar: I get that, but why is this “truth” you two speak of would give us some issues?
Raven: (finish drinking) Because… the “truth” is hard to come by. A story of victory for one person is a story of defeat for someone else. By now, your uncle has surely told Ruby and her friends plenty of stories.
Yang: Well, he's never given me a reason to doubt him before.
Raven: That doesn't mean those reasons don't exist. (Yang glares at her) You know, you and your teammates might as well be the poster children for the Huntsman Academies. Your motives vary, but you all enrolled to try and make the world a better place. It's adorable.
Frost: (defends the youth) But that doesn’t mean it isn’t true. Many of the youth enrolls into the academies in hope that they can make a difference; in doing so they can achieve greater goals and dreams; even if one of them is to achieve world peace.
Raven: (corrects him) Well not all of them. Some people are just in it for the money and the fame, but there's even more that are just looking to grow stronger. (directs her attention to Yang) You’re Uncle Qrow and I didn't attend Beacon to become Huntsmen, we did it to learn how to kill Huntsmen.
(Yang and Weiss gasp at this, exchanging a brief look with each other with Edgar and Sebastian briefly looks at each other in concern)
Raven: Daddy and Uncle left that part out, hm? (begins to pour more tea for herself) Aside from the Grimm, Huntsmen were the only ones capable of ruining our raids and hunting us down. Our tribe needed a counterforce. (takes another sip) And Qrow and I were the perfect age.
Frost: (concern) Raven, what are you doing?
Raven: (standing up) The entrance exams were child's play compared to what we'd already been through. We were good. So good, that we caught the attention of Beacon's very own Headmaster, Professor Ozpin. Even after we were put on a team, I could tell he was keeping his eye on us. Back then, I thought it was because he knew, but it was Team STRQ he was interested in.
Yang: What do you mean by that?
Raven: Constant attention, extra training missions, turning a blind eye whenever we happened to break the rules and get into more trouble than we should've. Sound familiar?
(Yang and Weiss share another glance at each other. Weiss gestures Yang to keep going)
Yang: What's your point?
Raven: How much do you know about Professor Ozpin? About his past?
Edgar: (contributes in the conversation) Well… so far as we know is that he is the Headmaster of Beacon, that he has a keen eye for talented people who wish to enroll into the school.
Weiss: He was... a prodigy. One of the youngest headmasters to be appointed to a school.
(However, Sebastian is the first to realize of what Raven is asking)
Sebastian: But I have a question. (Raven looks at him) Why would you ask something like that? I know I’m not the sharpest tool in the shed, but I know that Ozpin is one of the greatest headmasters. Why would doubt him?
Raven: Because that's how he planned it. Because the man you know as Ozpin designed those schools and has followers inside every academy on Remnant that are loyal to him and no one else.
Edgar: (confused) Followers?
Yang: That doesn't make any sense! How could he have...? No. Why would someone even do that?
Raven: Because old man Oz has a great and terrible secret; one that could spread fear across the world. One that he eventually entrusted to our team, and once I knew, there was no going back. I needed to know more, but with every new discovery I made, the more horrifying the world became.
(Frost remained silent as he hears what Raven is telling; with some of them not even him knows about)
Yang: Okay, then tell us. What's the big secret? What's so crazy that the rest of us don't know?
Raven: The Creatures of Grimm... have a master named Salem. She can't be stopped, she can't be reasoned with, and she will not rest until Humanity crumbles at her feet.
(As she speaks, Weiss and Yang's eyes widen more and more. They sit in silence)
Weiss: What?
Raven: You know, you two haven't even touched your tea.
(Raven takes another sip from her teacup, while Yang stands up)
Yang: Why should we believe any of this?
Raven: Now you're catching on. So far you've done nothing but accept what others tell you, (puts her cup down) but you need to question everything.
(The two stare at each other face to face, before Raven turns around. Frost sees that this situation is getting worse and he readies his sword)
Raven: Otherwise you'll end up just as blind as Qrow... (Yang grits her teeth, and her eyes narrow, seething) ... and your fool of a father.
(As Yang was about to use her Ember Celica to destroy the table, Frost restrains Yang with his sword infused with electric dust; stunning her in place. Everyone was surprised by Frost’s reaction and proceeds to tell her)
Frost: You shouldn’t take out on something when you burst in anger.
Yang: (frustrated) Why do you care? She just insulted my dad. (directs her attention to her mother) Also, don't you dare talk about my family like that!
Frost: Young lady that is enough of you. You need to relax.
Yang: (takes out her anger on Frost) And why would I listen to someone like you?
(Offended by this, he bust his frustration out; leading to tell something he heed secret)
Frost: Because if you don’t control you anger you’ll end up like Sebastian when he lost control due to his anger!
(This shocks everyone in the tent, especially Sebastian. When Edgar looks back to him his eyes go wide to hear that he last out in some point in his life and simply says)
Sebastian: Did… did I did what?
(Frost, realizes what he just said, he sighs before telling everyone to sit down, except for Raven, Vernal and Jolt. He proceeds to let go of Yang’s restrains from his hold on her so she can sit back down. Knowing that eh can’t hide it anymore, he proceeds to tell them)
Frost: When you were young, you were playing with Raiden during Lucas invitation for a reunion, do you remember?
Sebastian: Ye… Yeah?
Frost: Do you remember anything of that day? Anything at all?
Sebastian: (regains his composure) Um… well… I do remember that I was playing with him. A one point we were encountered by a Grimm, which by that time we didn’t know what a Grimm is. I thought it was my uncle playing tricks on us, but the Grimm approaches us with killing intent. We were trying to flee with our lives and after that…
Frost: Yes?
Sebastian: After that… I… I… I can’t remember. The only thing I know is that I ended up back at home. Why do you ask?
Frost: *sigh* Because, there is something we hid from you that we were afraid you might know of it. And since we are telling secrets out in the open (referring to Raven’s previous statement, causing her to look away in annoyance) Is better off if I tell you the truth with the other matter I wish to discuss.
Sebastian: What do you mean?
Frost: When we were enjoying the event, we heard a roar of a Grimm. We thought that their where no Grimms in Patch, but knowing that you two went to play deep in the forest, me, Lucas and your uncle went to rescue you and Raiden. As we made our approach a huge gust of wind was heading our way and we hid from the blast. Upon us arriving to the area it was completely decimated. We didn’t know at the time who could do such devastating force, but we lead to conclude that it was you, Sebastian.
Sebastian: (shocked) What?
Edgar: But, how is that possible? He just said that he and Raiden where fleeing for their lives.
Frost: And that O’Malley told him that he took down the Grimm? What Sebastian said is true, but the other… it was false. (Sebastian remains silent and speechless upon knowing this; making Yang feel sorry for him) The truth is… when the Grimm attacked them, in some point, you manifested a power so great that you devastated the Grimm and the landscape in front of the monster. You likely past out from using such raw power and lost you memory of the experience.
Weiss: Raw power? (deduces that the raw power could be referring to the Awakening) Could you referring to an Awakening; the same as Raiden’s?
Frost: Can’t be certain about it since by that time we didn’t even know what it is; even Ozpin didn’t even know of it either. But when Raiden triggered his… (referring to Raiden’s Awakening and showing a flashback of how Raiden awaken his new power) It could mean that Sebastian has awakened his, but prematurely. Do to him awakening it form a young age, it may took his toll on him and passes him out.
Edgar: Like how Raiden past out when he used it for the first time?
Frost: Correct. However, in this case for him, he lost his memories of going through it. But I can truly say this that… it could have been triggered in you trying to save Raiden’s life.
Sebastian: (looks at him with concern) I did?
Frost: Yes. Your bond with Raiden was so strong that it could have triggered it and you used it, unknowingly, to save your friends life.
Sebastian: Oh… well…. At least that’s good to hear.
(Seeing this changed of mood, he changes the subject to another discussion)
Frost: *sigh* With that said, let’s change the subject to the other I wish to tell. (looks at Jolt) Jolt, if you would?
(He nods and proceeds towards a counter and takes a pair of gloves. After that he leaves the tent. Confused, Edgar tries to ask his father, but he tells him to wait using his hand without saying a word. After a while, Jolt return with a tray covered with a silver lid. He place it on the table and Edgar says)
Edgar: Umm… what is it?
Frost: (simply says) The other “truth”.
(He signals Jolt and proceeds to lift the lid, revealing a purple dust crystal. The girls and the boys look amazed by its glow, except for Frost and Jolt as they look at it with precaution with Raven looking at them with concern)
Weiss: What is that? Is it… dust?
Edgar: I don’t know, but it looks… beautiful.
(As eh proceeds to reach for it, Frost smacks his son’s hand and prevents him from touching it)
Edgar: Ow!
Frost: Don’t touch it!
Weiss: Hey, what did you did that for?
Frost: I did it to save his life.
Edgar: But… ow… why?
Frost: Because… it looks like dust, but it isn’t a dust.
Weiss: What? Sorry if I sound rude but, it’s clearly a dust crystal.
Frost: You are correct, Miss Schnee. However, unlike the other dust that is natural in nature… this one… is manmade. (This surprises them)
(Jolt proceeds to give him his gloves and he wears them. After that he proceeds to take the dust with his son reacting to his behavior tries to stop him, but sees that is having no effect)
Frost: (inspects it while explaining) This “dust” is design not for use like you normally would do, but it was design for the sole purpose of taking people’s lives. To clarify, in the term of taking lives is not what you actually think, but rather it takes the victims life force, the very thing that gives us life. It absorbs their life force and leaves no trace of their existence. The only way this works if it’s triggered by physical contact, such as contact with our hands or parts of our body. But if does parts are covered lie using a glove, it’s rendered harmless; or that how we know so far.
Yang: How can you be so certain?
Frost: Glad you asked. Raven?
Raven: *sighs* One of our men discovered it from a mine near our camp. He tried to bring it back, but the “dust” started to take his life force and the only thing that remained of him was his clothes. We went to find him, but he was nowhere in sight. The only thing we found of him was his clothes and the “dust”.
Frost: Which I manage to contain it. However, my previous attempt by using dust didn’t work, because it began to drain the dust’s properties as well. Whatever this is (he places the dust down and Jolt covers it back) This “Dark Dust” is too dangerous for anyone to use it.
Weiss: I see. But, why would someone made something like this? I never knew anyone who can make their own synthetic dust crystal before.
Frost: Because it was never made by man or anyone in Remnant. (he stand up and walks towards Raven, but doesn’t face them) Whoever made this Dark Dust… it must have been made by a tyrant from a distant past; a powerful conqueror that seeks the total conquest of Remant and ruling everyone with an iron fist.
(As he speaks, Weiss, Edgar, Yang and Sebastian's eyes widen more and more)
Frost: Whatever his intensions where, he vanish from the face of Remnant and no traces of his existence where found. I could guess that he is in hiding, planning his next move for a future campaign in conquering Remnant once more.
Edgar: But… how can you be so certain about it?
Frost: Have you ever read the stories of the Legendary Guardians? (looks back) The truth lies hidden there.
Frost: That is why you need to prepare to accept what is true and what is not. Because it will determine what you should truly believe if you like it or not.
Raven: His right on one thing. You should listen very well and to your friends. (redirecting towards Yang, in which this provokes her again) Your teammates never let you down before.
Yang: (stand back up) You don't know the first thing about my teammates! About me! You were never there! You LEFT US!! (her eyes then turn back to normal) Why?! (hangs her head in sadness)
Sebastian: (worried for her) Yang.
Raven: I know more than you realize, even he knows things that I don’t. Not just about you, and not just what I've been told, but things I've seen with my own eyes. I know the Grimm have a leader, I know people who can come back from the dead, I know that magic is real, and we can prove it.
(Weiss stands up, while Raven continues addressing her daughter with Edgar and Sebastian following Weiss)
Raven: You said Tai told you all about my Semblance. (Vernal lowers her weapon while Raven heads toward the back exit of her tent) Well, I doubt he ever told you what Oz did to my brother and me.
(Raven exits her tent. Yang and Weiss exchange confused looks)
Vernal: Go see for yourself.
(Vernal leaves. Yang, Sebastian, Weiss and Edgar take her advice and exit the tent with Frost and Jolt following behind. They see no one there)
Yang: Mom?
Weiss: Yang, are you okay?
Yang: I'll be fine once we can get her to take us to Ruby.
(Weiss relents while Yang continues to look around)
Weiss: It's okay if... you're not okay.
Yang: You didn't believe what she said, right?
Weiss: I... of course not. Well, not all of it. It was crazy. We have Dust, Semblances... But, I mean, there's no such thing as magic.
Frost: (offscreen) I beg to differ.
(Frost walks ahead of them with Jolt before they turn and stop to look at them)
Frost: Remember what I just said? You need to prepare to accept what is true and what is not. Because it will determine what you should truly believe if you like it or not. Not only that, you need to also prepare to witness thing that would defy all the things you ever heard or learn. While you keep denying that it doesn’t exist… magic is real.
(He looks at Jolt and signals him to flick his wrist. He does so and his and began to electrify)
Edgar: You’re using it again? To be honest, that is an impressive semblance you got there.
Frost: (corrects him) What you see is no semblance… what you see is magic.
(Their eyes go wide)
Frost: A semblance like that can’t be produce in such high voltage. Not only that he is yet to unlock his. To further prove this, Raven will show you the rest.
(The step away from where they are standing and just then, the four hear a bird caw. They watch it fly in front of them)
Weiss: A raven?
Yang: I've... seen that bird before.
Weiss: Maybe it belongs to your mom?
The two continue to watch the raven fly in the dusk-colored sky. It descends flying and weaving between the trees, before shapeshifting into Raven herself. Raven lands back on the ground on her feet, while Yang, Sebastian, Weiss and Edgar have shocked expressions as she stands back up)
Frost: Proof enough?
(They are stun of what they have seen)
Yang: How... did you do that?
Frost: Theirs a lot of thing that you yet to see, however I believe we don’t have a whole day to do so.
Raven: (agrees with Frost) True. (talks to the girls and boys) I could explain it to you...
(Raven then draws Omen, slashing behind her, creating a portal with her Semblance)
Raven: ... or you could ask your uncle.
Yang: You're letting us go?
Raven: I'm giving you a choice. (she sheathes her sword) Stay here, with me, and I'll answer all your questions and more. We can have a fresh start. (Yang glares at her) Or... (she steps to the side of her portal) you can go back to Qrow and join Ozpin's impossible war against Salem, and meet the same fate as so many others. But can you really go back to trusting someone that's kept so much from you?
Weiss reacts timidly, while Yang just glares at her mother.
Yang: All I care about is making sure my sister is safe.
Raven: (dissatisfied with Yang's response) Ugh...
Frost: (understands her choice) Then the choice was made.
(Yang and Weiss are then shown riding on Bumblebee with Sebastian rolling in his bike alongside Edgar. However, before Weiss and Yang can enter the portal, Raven addresses her daughter one more time)
Raven: Yang. If you side with your uncle, I may not be as kind the next time we meet...
(Weiss rolls her eyes and looks ahead)
Yang: You weren't kind this time either.
(Yang and Weiss proceed through the portal on Bumblebee)
Raven: I know...
(Sebastian and Edgar hops into the bike and prepares to leave)
Sebastian: Well… we should head out. Thanks for you hospitality.
(As they are about to leave, Frost stops them)
Frost: Boys, a moment of your time. (They stop to listen to his words) This might be last time we speak again, but I want to bestow you two with something.
Sebastian: Something?
Edgar: What do you mean, dad?
(As he compose himself, he looks to Sebastian and says)
Frost: Sebastian, you’re a courageous boy and wish to protect others. However, the power that is still doormen in you, your Awakening, we don’t know how it could properly develop. I strongly recommend that you seek someone who knows about Awakenings and maybe… they can help you control it. But, you must know how to control it as well in the meantime during your search. Understood?
Edgar: Say… Genji knows a lot of this Awakening thing and he did help Raiden in how he can control his. Maybe once we find him we can ask.
(Sebastian thinks for a moment before responding to Frost)
Sebastian: Ok, I will. And… thank you—for telling me the truth.
Frost: No mention it. It’s best telling you than not telling. (Raven rolls her eyes in the background) (he then looks at his son) And son.
Edgar: Yes, father.
(Frost snaps his fingers and Jolt approaches him and turns towards Edgar to hand over a letter)
Edgar: (looks at the letter confused) Umm… what’s this?
Frost: A letter. I want you to deliver it to Raiden once you find him in mistral. (Edgar takes the letter and began to inspect it) It is important that he receives it.
(As he inspects it he sees that the back as a wax stamp that is keeping the letter closed. On it has a symbol that he doesn’t recognize)
Edgar: Umm… who is this from?
(Frost lowers his head)
Frost: I can’t, I’m sorry. But you have to trust me on this. No one is allowed to open that letter, except for Raiden and he is the only one allowed to open it. Understand?
(Edgar looks directly in his eyes and understands his plea)
Edgar: Ok, I’ll deliver it to him once I see him. (he stores away the letter) I hope I see you again.
Frost: We will… and I won’t keep you waiting for another long years.
(Edgar smiles with glee as he is relieved to know that he will see his father again. After that he signals Sebastian and the ride into the portal. The portal then disappears)
Frost: We will… I promise.
Jolt: Umm… didn’t you bother telling who letter was from?
Frost: It’s better off not telling. They should discover it for themselves… only they would realize the circumstances and contexts of the letter. By the time they realize it… they will know what to do.
Jolt: I see.
(In that moment, a bandit rushes in; interrupting their moment)
Bandit: Raven, Raven, Raven!
Raven: Hey, who gave you permission to enter my tent?
Bandit: Sorry, Raven… but—we got a situation on our hands!
(They all get surprised by this. Cuts back to Qrow, he is seen leaning against a stone railing)
Qrow: This isn't right. I get one or two of them, but... all of them?
(Qrow sighs and hangs his head in disappointment. In that moment, he ears bird wings and as he turns around he see Falco and Swana turning back into their normal forms as the brid feathers slowly descend to the ground)
Qrow: *sigh* Soo… how did it go?
(They approach towards him)
Falco: Nothing. I went to door to door and couldn’t find the people that is written on the list.
Qrow: I see. (looks at Swana) And you?
Swana: Same here and in each and every hose I went to…. (as the twin arrive, Qrow turns and all three leans against the stone railing) they all said the same thing. “They didn’t come back from their mission”. *sigh* Qrow something is off, way off and I don’t like it.
Falco: Same here. There is something suspicious about these MIA’s and this is bothering me.
(The twins look at each other and decide to inform them of what they uncover)
Falco: Qrow… theirs something you need to know—
(Suddenly, they hear the sound of Raven's portal behind him and Qrow is the first to react to this)
Qrow: Raven?
(The sound of motorcycles is heard coming from the portal)
Qrow: (surprised) Oh.
(The twins look surprised of that they see. Back at the house Team RNJR is staying at, each of the members are helping prepare dinner: Ruby Rose and Lie Ren are cooking at the stove, Jaune Arc is setting up the table, and Nora Valkyrie is cutting carrots, occasionally eating slices. Raiden and Miller are busy washing the dishes to set them up for the event and Ursa and Olinda are deciding on what color would the decorations would be)
Ren: Alright, the first batch is just about done.
Ruby: Awesome! Now we just need Qrow and we'll be all set.
Raiden: (reminds Ruby) Hey, don’t forget about Falco, Swana and Fukushima. They will be attending as well you know.
Nora: (still eating carrots) Do you really think they would bring that many people? This is a lot of food. (eats another carrot slice)
Ruby: Uh, I don't know, but it sounds like we could use all the help we can get.
Qrow: (off screen) Where back!
Ruby: Be right there!
Ren: (to Ruby) You're going to overcook that.
Ruby: No I'm not, shut up!
Falco: (offscreen) Yo, Ruby?
Ruby: I'm coming!
(Some smoke comes from the pan Ruby is cooking with)
Ruby: (to Ren) Fine! You take over.
(Ruby grabs the tea tray and heads to the living room while Ren helps cook the pan. Raiden smiles for Ruby’s efforts)
Raiden: She seems she’s getting the hang of things.
Miller: What do you mean, her cooking?
Ren: She’s trying her best, but she needs practice.
(Raiden turns and shows Ren his cape hoodie. Ren turns as Raiden states)
Raiden: Hey, may I remind you that she made this for me back in Beacon and I can tell… she is improving.
(In that moment, everyone in the kitchens heard something shattering on the floor)
Ursa: What was that?
Raiden: Probably Ruby I think. She might have trip on the carpet and drop the tea tray and its contents. (to Miller) Take over for me. (Raiden picks up the mop and the bucket filled with water) *sigh* Wish me luck.
(As he walks out of the kitchen, he sees Ruby staring ahead in shock and sees the broken tea tray and the contents on the floor. He approach towards her)
Raiden: Ruby, what happen? Why did you drop the tray—
(When he looked forward, he is in disbelief to see Yang, Weiss, Edgar and Sebastian; causing him to drop the mop and water bucket. Yang approaches her little sister)
Ruby: (voice cracking) Yang, I... I'm so sorry! I- I should've stayed, and I should've talked to you more! I'd-- I just... (tears start pouring from her eyes) I wasn't sure if you wanted me around and—
(Suddenly, her big sister gives her a strong hug. Ruby's lips quiver, and she looks toward her sister. Raiden looks on surprised)
Yang: I love you. (tears stream from her eyes)
(Ruby sobs as she leans into her sister's hug)
Ruby: I love you too.
(Jaune, Ren and Nora enter the room with Miller, Ursa and Olinda following behind, smiling at the sight of the two sisters embracing each other. Qrow smiles as well. Raiden expression changes and smiles at their reunion. Sebastian approaches him)
Sebastian: Never knew how fate would draw us back together, in a place like this. But hey, it seems going into that portal really paid off in the end. The journey was rough, but we manage to made it.
Raiden: Hmph. I could see that you hand an adventure of a lifetime in reaching to Mistral, right?
Sebastian: Yeah, but nothing is going to keep me away from my best friend, right partner?
(Sebastian puts out his hand and Raiden smiles and gabs his hand)
Raiden: Right… partner.
(After that, they hug each other as the wholesomely embrace. Swana and Falco smiles. Oscar enters the room with Fukushima arriving at the front door and sees the reunion of the sisters)
Oscar: Uh...
Fukushima: Ohh… Well this is a special occasion.
(Weiss and Edgar smiles as she wipes a tear from her eye, before frowning while looking down)
Ruby: Weiss.
Raiden: Edgar. (Weiss and Edgar looks up and sees them opening their arms out) Don’t keep us hanging.
Edgar tries to remains firmed, but he relents, smiles and eagerly joins them in their hug. Everyone smiles as they watch three of the four Team RWBY and Team ROSE members embrace each other. A few hours earlier, right before Edgar and Sebastian left the camp, in the outside of the camp walls; two bandits are patrolling the area. As they do, a teenage boy comes out of the forest and puts his hand up in the air when the bandits sees him and points their weapons at him)
Bandit A: Hold it!
Teenager: (The scene covering his head) Please, please don’t shoot, don’t shoot! I mean you no harm!
Bandit B: Who are you!
Teenager: I’m just a simple teenager who means you no harm. I am unarmed and I came here peacefully, so please don’t shoot.
(The bandits look at each other skeptical of the boy’s claims. They look back at him and temand answers, but still pointing their weapons at him)
Bandit A: What does a teenager like you would come to a place like this?
Teenager: I was told… that someone here can help me with my problems.
Bandits B: And who told you that?
Teenager: The headmaster of Haven Academy.
(They are stun to hear that name, another bandit (looking form the camp walls) looks on at the conversation)
Bandit A: Pfff, yeah right. And why would someone like him would tell you of our location?
Teenager: Because, he told me that Raven would help me solve the answers I been looking for, answers that could help me understand myself better. Please, you have to believe me. If he did send me here it has to be for a good reason.
(The bandits look at each other again with doubt. So they lower they weapons and tell him)
Bandit A: If you were sent here to get some answers by our chief, would you behave yourself?
Teenager: Wait… you mean… I can come in?
Bandit A: That is “if” you behave yourself in there, otherwise… (they point their weapons at him again) You’ll be in a lot of trouble.
(The boy thinks for a moment before replying)
Teenager: OK I will.
Bandit B: (looks at his buddy before looking back at the kid) Alright then, you may come in, but after that your leaving this place at once, you hear me?
Teenager: Ohh, well…
(The boy lowers his head and after a while, he lifts his head; with the scene revealing that is none other than Blaze as he talks with his normal voice)
Blaze: That’s all I needed to hear.
(He signals with his hand and the bandits look on in shock to see more people coming out of the forest behind the boy. Axel, Nox, Walter and Sitar come out of the forest and into the clearing. The bandit on the camp walls looks on and run to warn Raven about the individuals that came out of the forest. The other two bandits look on in shock as Blaze says)
Blaze: Well… don’t mine if we—
(The scene cuts to black)
Blaze: come in?
