Shot in the back...such a cheap shot, the lowest blow anyone can give, to not even face their opponent and go for an easy kill when their target is distracted with the fight in front of them.
Link staggard, he tried to utter a gasp but it was choked with blood, he fell to his knees, life quickly leaving him, Link was dead before he even hit the ground. He had hardly enough time to even realize the end was near let alone dwell upon the fact, so at least his death was a quick a peaceful one...

there is something about the goodguy facing self sacrifice for the greater good, facing death with acceptance, being captured and confined (i should note though that i hate torture) that gets me. one of the best examples of what i mean would be Fullmetal Alchemist and the ep when scar nearly killed Ed and Al, his hand on Eds face, knowing he can destroy Ed from the inside out, Ed with his arm torn to bits battered and helpless staring back at scar unafraid with those sharp calm eyes and accepting what was to come, only demanding scar not hurt his little brother...damn was i ever on the edge of my fecking seat!!!!

man it has been FOREVER since i made new art that was NOT a fursuit, i have had some art block hindering my fursuit making the last 2 days and i was indulging in some fanart and it got the old fanart juices flowing again and i felt compelled to take another day off fursuit making to give my 2D skills a good stretch.
