I had an idea for a dragon who hoarded kobolds, which grew out of my control. So, everyone meet Lindirtul. She is a celestial-touched (feathered) copper dragon who hoards kobolds and runs a sanctuary/rescue for them. She takes in strays, surrenders, etc. and adopts them out to other dragons looking for kobolds. She has never met a kobold that she didn't like. Her mortal disguise is a wood elf. She is an old soul who is only just 1000 years old, making her an ancient dragon. She is very proud of that fact.

“Well I do see that you have many kobolds already. Just so you know, I do believe Skrelp would thrive more with a less than 30 Kobold family. But let’s see how he feels when he meets you.”

“Oh is this your first Kobold? Well I have the perfect one for you! This is Toko. Now, her and Zuud over there are a package deal, but it’s always better for them to have a companion anyway.”

“Hm yes I do see that you want to adopt Appi. Unfortunately, you are a white dragon, and Appi is used to a more tropical climate. Does your lair have adequate heating to allow for an easier transition?”

"Oh honey did you lose your kobold? Okay let me see if they're here. I just need a description and whatever name they--Hm yes okay. Now I'll just give this to Turn...He's the oldest he knows everyone. Your boy is purple and has an odd name. I’m sure he’ll stand out.”

“I am so sorry it appears that you are on my no-adoption blacklist. Please leave quietly or I will be forced to eat, maim, and/or dissolve you slowly in acid.”
“No sorry we do not discourage trap-making here. It’s important for their natural enrichment to be able to make traps, make tunnels, the usual things kobolds do. I do have plenty of scrolls of find traps spell if that works for you.”
