And a full reference of my new OC, Jory Softbough. He is a Harper in the Axian Navy. Harpers are a group of possibly too reckless and almost suicidal special forces in the Navy. They use harpoons and large knives and are a force to be reckoned with. They often lean off the sides of ships to skewer their prey.

Jory comes from a long line of Harpers. His dad was a Harper in the last civil war, and was very tired and ready to retire. Or as ready as a Harper ever is. He got injured in a way that rendered him unable to continue his duties. He didn't really have a place to "settle," so he kinda drifted for a bit before landing in county Iris, where he met a halfling woman. And they say the way to any man is through his stomach, so they clicked. Jory was born as a "big halfling" or a "short human" and things go back and forth with that. His dad's line was Harpers, which means it was in Jory's blood too. So he's a bit mischievous and reckless, but he might still be considered cautious and calculating for a Harper. He learned with his harpoon since he was young, spear fishing with his dad. He doesn't have alot of ship experience but he learns well enough. His mom was a little reluctant to let him leave the nest, but when the Song is Sung and the Harpers were called to duty during the battle with Illizar Cutter, they had to answer. One odd thing about him: He prefers two harpoons, a large one and a shorter one, to the usual harpoon and sword-knife of the other Harpers. Also, he can cook because his mom made sure of that.

His clothes are his dad's, so theyre a bit baggy. Perhape he'll grow into them. Or perhaps my DM will use him as *ahem* character development for a PC.
