This is Wintersong, the protagonist of my main series Vinterens Barn. She grew up pretty isolated from the more modern world in a forest, in the guise as a wolf with her adoptive mother. When her mother dies in a mysterious fire, she has to flee and her prophecy starts.
Wintersong is a overly curious, young lady. This is both a strength and weakness! She is very kind, yet just as much stubborn. When she unexpectedly turns into a human after a year on the run, it’s good to have friends who can guide her through it, since she never knew she was originally human to begin with. Perhaps she will finally know why she was also born with a heart of ice on her forehead?
